Dallas, in the small town of Crandall is the "Crandall Cotton
Gin," which is a restaurant located in what used to be a working
Cotton Gin. The Dietz Gin used to be the main industry in Crandall
and cotton was the main industry in Crandall and the surrounding blackland
prairie areas. At the time, cotton truly was "King." |
| Times are
different now, but the past hasn't been forgotten. The
inside of the restaurant is decorated with antiques and cotton
memorabilia. The restaurant serves as a social haven for the small
town of Crandall and as a welcome mat for visitors. |
