Dinosaur Valley State Park
Glen Rose, TX

If you are a dinosaur hunter in north Texas then this is the closest place for you to find them.  Thanks to the Paluxy River you can hunt for dinosaur tracks on your own!  There are many tracks that have been left in tact for the last 65 million years.  A great park for camping or day hikes.
The river fluctuates throughout the year and dino track visibility is dependant on how low the river is.  It ranges from "bone dry" to "dangerous flooding" throughout the year so make sure you call ahead before you go to check on the river.
