Fossil Rim has an incredible collection of endangered species living safely within their refuge.  Most animals roam freely about the 1,500 acres.  The most common activity is the scenic wildlife drive.  A 9.5 mile drive that hits all the great features of Fossil Rim and gives the visitors a chance to see first hand the 1,100 animals in natural conditions.  For an added charge Fossil Rim offers the Behind the Scenes tour where you're driven in an open air vehicle by a naturalist .  
A great way to get the full experience.  Other features of Fossil Rim include a petting Zoo for the kids and and mountain bike tours on selected weekends.  The mountain bike tours are $30 per person and include a T-Shirt and snacks.  More wildlife tours and nature hikes are offered so there are a number of ways for you to see the vast assortment of wild animals contained at the refuge.
