Areas of Outdoor Interest
Fort Worth Zoo
Fort Worth, TX

The North Texas area is fortunate enough to have many fine zoos.  The Fort Worth Zoo and the Dallas Zoo are certainly two of the biggest and most well know but there are also smaller ones in the area worth visiting.   The Fort Worth Zoo has gone to great lengths to provide a great atmosphere and wonderful exhibits for both kids and grown-ups.
The zoo has many featured exhibits that recreate a very vast collection of environments.  A multitude of educational programs and events are offered.  Animal visibility is good and exhibit highlights include: the African Savannah, the Primate House, and the James R. Record Aquarium.  However there are many more impressive exhibits.
