Boat ramp users are required to pay a $2.00 per day fee
for the use of the boat ramp.
Fees in these campgrounds range from $13.00 to $15.00 per night
depending on the campsite. |
| Camping Facilities: |
Tent Camping (Murrell Park): Water and
Restrooms (No Showers), Fire rings and grills, Boat ramps.
Primitive Camping (Murrell Park): Fire ring only.
Group Camping: 3 Primitive camping areas which require a Special
Event Permit. Pit toilets, fire rings and tables. No water. |
| Hiking: |
30 miles of natural surface trails including Nature
Trails, Biking Trails and Equestrian Trails. |
Other Facilities
& Features: |
Public Hunting in Marshall Creek area. Waterfowl and
small game hunting as well as bow hunting for feral hogs and deer.
Hunting license from the state of Texas and a permit from the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers required. |
| Other Stuff: |
Approximately 250 acres of Off-Road Vehicle terrain.
While none have been spotted, the possibility of alligators living at
the lake exists so bring your camera. Maybe you can be the first
to see one. |
