Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway
Mineral Wells, TX

This Park is for the rock climbers.  One of the few places in Texas to climb, Lake Mineral Wells State Park is a haven for those who like to practice their climbing skills.  Climbers must check in at headquarters before beginning for safety reasons.

Other features of the park include Rock Creek which is a tributary of the Brazos River and water activities that go along with it.  The park has a rich history as an early home to Native American tribes like the Comanche.  Water from the local wells was thought to have healing and regenerative properties, so enjoy a refreshing swim after your climb.
