Lake Texoma State Park
Kingston, OK

Lake Texoma State Park is located near the Red River, the Texas/Oklahoma border.  There are hunting areas but different hunting and fishing licenses are required for the different Texas/Oklahoma sections.  However a special fishing license is available if you just want to fish on the lake.  Lake Texoma is 89,000 acres (at normal level) and has 580 miles of shoreline.
In the lake you can find black bass, white & striped bass, catfish, bullhead, crappie, pike, gar, sunfish, drum and much more.  The State Park has a great golf course, paddle boats, and other fun stuff.  Cabins are available to rent.  Check out the nature center for a look at some wildlife.  A great family getaway.
