Lake Texoma State Park is located near the Red River, the Texas/Oklahoma border. There are hunting areas but different hunting and fishing licenses are required for the different Texas/Oklahoma sections. However a special fishing license is available if you just want to fish on the lake. Lake Texoma is 89,000 acres (at normal level) and has 580 miles of shoreline. |
| In the lake you can find black bass, white & striped bass, catfish, bullhead, crappie, pike, gar, sunfish, drum and much more. The State Park has a great golf course, paddle boats, and other fun stuff. Cabins are available to rent. Check out the nature center for a look at some wildlife. A great family getaway. |
