The Dallas
World Aquarium and Zoological Garden is one of the best kept secrets in
Dallas. Not many people are aware of that near Dallas' West End
there are endangered species breeding and thriving. The DWA houses
an indoor recreation of a Rain Forest ecosystem complete with plants and
animals as well as an impressive aquarium featuring some rare and
beautiful underwater species as well as their new manatees! Visitors
are treated to the sight of animals and fish in their natural habitat in a
safe and enclosed area. Great for a day trip, the DWA also has a
restaurant and cafe for the hungry wildlife watcher. |
