The Dallas World Aquarium and Zoological Garden is one of the best kept secrets in Dallas.  Not many people are aware of that near Dallas' West End there are endangered species breeding and thriving.  The DWA houses an indoor recreation of a Rain Forest ecosystem complete with plants and animals as well as an impressive aquarium featuring some rare and beautiful underwater species as well as their new manatees!  Visitors are treated to the sight of animals and fish in their natural habitat in a safe and enclosed area.  Great for a day trip, the DWA also has a restaurant and cafe for the hungry wildlife watcher.

Open 7 days a week, 10am to 5pm
(except for Thanksgiving & Christmas)
Fees: $15.95 for Adults
$8.95 for Children 3-12 years
$12.95 for Seniors, 60 and older
Children 2 years and under are FREE

"eighteen-O-one" Restaurant: 11:30am - 2:30pm
Jungle Cafe': 11am - 4pm
Other Stuff: Aquarium features approximately 85,000 gallons of beautiful saltwater exhibits including a 22,000 gallon walk-through tunnel, Predators exhibit and an outdoor Cape of good Hope Exhibit.
Rain Forest features large recreation of plants and wildlife
Plus regularly scheduled feedings for visitors to watch.
