- Our mission: To highlight the natural, historical and recreational features of Texas in an educational and entertaining manner.

To educate and inform the viewers in North Texas of the scientific and historical significance of places throughout the region and elsewhere in Texas, to sponsor outdoor recreation in a learned and responsible way, and to promote the science of the great Texas landscapes.

In short, NTE features the very heart of Texas: the land itself and our relationship with it.

North Texas Explorer is an outdoor nature/travel variety show shot on location at various points of interest in the north Texas region and throughout the state. The main focus is to educate and enlighten the audience to the geographical, geological and historical features of each particular area while maintaining a lighthearted and fun feel to the overall show.  It is our desire to make the science and history of Texas accessible to the most layman of viewers while inspiring interest in the topic to all.

Shows include various did-you-know tidbits about local area history, zoology, botany, and weather, with a focus on the physical, natural aspects of the land itself and how it has affected the people who inhabit the area. Like its name implies, North Texas Explorer ventures out to the highways and byways of Texas to learn more about this wonderful state and its legacy.
